All,

I do need to send invitation to everyone. If you are interested in *posting* message, get a gmail account (or you may already have one) and accept the invitation. You will be able to *post* message. If you are *not* interested in posting messages, do nothing, you can still *read* everything.

If you don't prefer to use the blog, just keep on sending messages to xyz-list@yahoogroup s.com. That is still our basic way of communicating with each other.

It appears that people in mainland China can NOT even access xyzalumni.org (the email that Zhang Jian sent). Sounds like the only thing works there is the yahoo group.

Invitations will go out later today.

Miao Xu.

I have difficulty accessing this website.

下午已安葬于万安公墓( http://baike. baidu.com/ view/1468537. htm ).

据唐其放说,唐老师选了这里,是因为这里有一些清华、北大的教授,他觉得和他们合得来。

I've just said farewell to Prof. Tang. He looks calm.

Now he can reunion with his beloved wife, living a peaceful life, together and forever.

Hello all,

MIAO Xu has helped move our message board to a new place with better technology: a blog. You can get access to the XYZ Blog through our main page:

http://www.xyzalumn i.org
It is much easier to maintain.
MIAO Xu indicates that everybody with a Gmail account can post messages to the Blog. But I could not figure out how to do it. It appears that we can only add comments to a posting.
People in China may not be able to gain access to the Blog. Could Huimin read the Blog?
I suggest that we still use the Yahoo Group for important messages. MIAO Yu will help us move the postings to the Blog, which functions as an archive for people that are late to the Yahoo Group. Prof Tang's family will also be able to view the archive later on.

Thank you all for your postings. It brings us back to the old days, the days with Prof Tang.
XIAO Yu
